The purpose of this website (www.susyparker.com) is to share our journey with other parents.
I haven’t got a degree in Psychology or Psychiatry; I’m not a pediatrician or Naturopath, but what I do have is experience, so I hope that our experiences can help other parents and children. I have read countless books on ADHD; I have watched numerous experts talk about how the brain works, the lack of dopamine, the difference in the way transmitters speak to each other and how ADHD has comorbid symptoms such as Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Tics and Dyslexia, etc. There are many experts all over the planet with their theories, diets, pills, ideas, concepts and medication. This is just our story, our journey and my opinions, feelings and thoughts.
However, it’s important to mention that our journey is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment and no responsibility is accepted for any loss arising from reliance on it. You should never disregard professional medical or psychological advice or delay seeking assistance and advice from such professionals because of something you have read on this website (www.susyparker.com).
